Foxtown Station

Foxtown Station in Mequon, WI, is a historical renovation and expansion project that transforms century-old structures into a vibrant event venue. This project involved the meticulous remodel of a 1900’s icehouse, originally used to store ice blocks harvested from the Milwaukee River. The renovation also included two metal storage buildings from the 1950s.

Spanning 18,000 square feet, the remodel has breathed new life into these buildings, creating a dynamic venue that now features an arcade and event spaces. The remodel also included two exterior pavilions at the south plaza, designed to accommodate larger gatherings and events.

A key highlight of the project was raising the south building by 30 inches, ensuring a seamless elevation across all floors. Custom woodwork and a stained-glass window were incorporated into the project, enhancing the venue’s unique character.  Floor and paint finishes and bespoke lighting were meticulously selected in collaboration with the owner, adding both charm and functionality to the space.
